Dogs are part of my family, so they deserve the highest standard of nutrition, which is why they are exclusively fed Black Hawk.

Caitlin has had dogs in her life for as long as she can remember and has been part of Taniwha Kennels with her parents since the mid-1990s.

As a preservation breeder of Clumber Spaniels and English Springer Spaniels, Caitlin dedicates significant time to researching her breeds to support a breeding program focused on quality dogs with sound temperament and structure.

Caitlin’s dogs compete at the highest level in conformation shows, winning Best in Show and numerous accolades at all-breed shows, Royal shows and specialty breed shows. They are also trained across a range of performance sports, including scent work, rally-obedience, sprint dog, tracking, endurance and track and search. Her dogs have earned numerous titles in these disciplines, including top-level achievements and Grand Championships.

She has also carefully researched canine nutrition to ensure her Clumber Spaniels and English Springer Spaniels receive a balanced diet that helps them look and perform at their best. Because her dogs are part of her family, Caitlin believes they deserve the highest standard of nutrition, which is why they are exclusively fed Black Hawk. From their first solid foods through puppyhood, adulthood and maturity, Black Hawk helps support their nutritional needs at every life stage.

As a conformation judge for gundogs, hounds, working dogs and utility breeds, as well as a performance judge in tracking, Caitlin continues to learn, research and share her lifelong commitment to dogs.
