Every day with my dogs reminds me why I trust Black Hawk.

I am a Havanese exhibitor and breeder, and all-round dog lover, located in Canberra, Australia.

My love of Havanese started many years ago when I read about this delightful breed and decided they sounded like the perfect companion dog. Decades passed before Havanese came to Australia, and I am now lucky enough to have these gorgeous muppets in my life.

I started my involvement in the dog world in dog rescue and dog sports. My first dogs were saved from pounds, and they have fun competing in obedience and agility. I was involved with dog rescue in the 2000's, and during this time, devoted much of my life to saving dogs that, through no fault of their own, ended up at a shelter. 

Every day with my dogs reminds me why I trust Black Hawk. Their health, coats, and happiness speak for themselves - real results from real nutrition.

In 2008 I got my first Havanese. 'Magic' entered my life with a bang and stole my heart. I spent the following three years showing and titling Havanese and gaining the knowledge and experience needed to become a breeder. In 2010 I imported 'Buzz' to use in my future breeding program. We flew to NZ to collect him and accompany him on the flight home.

In early 2012, Karyme's first litter of Havanese was born, and the rest - as they say - is history.
